In SGRE Mold Manufacturing we are designing and manufacturing the molds for the next generation of offshore wind turbine blades. In the Mold Manufacturing - Planning & Support team we are looking to strengthening our team with a project manager

As our new project manager you will be responsible for the overall planning and execution of mold and service projects from A to Z. 

Our mission is to ensure that we are manufacturing and delivering world class molds for blade production sites worldwide. We will be doing this by designing robust processes, reducing the cost of the mold, the time to marked of our new molds and the risk in our processes and projects

How to contribute to our vision

Together with your new colleagues you will drive mold manufacturing projects from design handover, to prototype manufacturing/installation, to serial production and installation of molds in our blade production facilities worldwide. You will typically be responsible for 2-3 projects with a life span of approx. 2-3 years from early project start to closure.

The Project management position in the Planning and Support team is newly created, and you will have significant influence in shaping and developing the project manager position.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • One point of contact to our project sponsors, customers and mold manufacturing stakeholders. 
  • Collect all relevant project data and molding it into clearly defined and detailed project plan.
  • Identifying and planning of capacity and resources needed to ensure successful execution of both manufacturing and installation of mold projects.  
  • Overall project budgeting (OPEX and CAPEX costs)
  • Secure that budgets and deadlines are met

What you need to make a difference

A candidate with a technical background and project management experience in planning and executing large project. Besides this you need to have good people and communication skills and its mandatory that you are fluent in English both orally and in writing.

To be successful in the role:

  • You are self-driven, take initiative and are capable of structuring own assignments and meeting deadlines
  • You possess the ability to multitask and change direction and priorities on short notice
  • You are able to communicate clearly and collaborate with people across all organizational levels and you have the ability to communicate clearly and in the appropriate detail level according to the receiver.
  • You should thrive with handling multiple task simultaneously and you should be able to work both independently and within teams
  • You like working behind a desk as well as spending time following you projects on the shop floor
  • You are strong in it-tools like excel and PowerPoint
