We are looking for a new PMO specialist with a high level of English proficiency for our business development and PMO team within the OF OPS TES organization.

One of the cornerstones of our responsibilities relies on consolidating and conveying appropriate cross-project portfolio information/reporting, such as project deliverables, timelines, financials, resource requirements etc. the latter falls under the second cornerstone; white collar resource management.

With a broad stakeholder pallet, we offer several layers, delivering a fixed monthly health status of our project portfolio. The PMO function is moreover responsible for gatekeeping our portfolio and supporting the process from pipeline to launch, throughout project lifespan, all the way to closure.

The third part of our responsibility, making above possible, is to ensure and facilitate that the project management tools and procedures are all-time relevant and tangible to manoeuvre in.

This contains ensuring that we have concise and aligned project deliverables according to project type, that procedures are in place, and that we offer the support / sparring towards the individual Project Managers.

In order to always work from our business’ best practise, we are currently building up our lessons learned concept and cross-project deployment. The candidate chosen for this position will be an active and important part in both the conceptualization and operational launch of this as a lessons learned facilitator to the projects.

How to contribute to our vision

As our new  PMO Specialist  you will participate in ensuring that the pre-reviewed project status reports are timely frozen in order to be able to generate consolidated KPI reporting towards upper management, just as you will be offering support to Project Managers, supporting in monitoring project KPIs and thereby ensuring timely change requests.

In this role you will be contributing to continuous process improvements within cross-functional PMO deliverables project procedures and tools at large, reporting concepts, governance etc.

You will assist our resource management scheme and once launched, you will contribute in lessons learned facilitation and measure/action follow-up with relevant stakeholders. If actions generate adjustment of procedure(s), this too is in scope.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

The ideal candidate has have solid project experience, either as a Project Manager, -lead or -member - preferably, you hold Project Management or PMO experience

It is important that you hold a certain level of business perspective and you understand and enforce a value add/cost efficiency mind-set. You possess the ability to conduct impact analyses across projects, e.g. when the conditions in the production environments change just as you are capable of viewing things with a critical eye for -and approach to material presented/delivered

To be successful in the role:

  • You are self-driven, take initiative and are capable of structuring own work assignments and meeting deadlines
  • You possess the ability to multitask, to change direction and priorities on short notice
  • You are able to communicate and collaborate with people across all organizational levels
  • You hold the ability to communicate clearly and in the appropriate detail level, according to the receiving end / costumer / stakeholder
  • You are strong in IT tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Think-Cell, Empower, Efficient Elements etc.

  • You have cross-cultural communication experience
  • You possess high English proficiency, both written and spoken
  • You have strong presence in physical communication / facilitation skills
