Terntank is a family-owned shipping company that started on Donsö in Gothenburg's  southern archipelago in 1958. Today Terntank own and operate 10 tanker vessels and have 3 new vessels on order. We specialize in the transport of environmental fuels and our customers are the leading oil companies in Europe. We are at the forefront with new technologies and in recent years we have made major investments in environmentally friendly vessels with batteries, shore power connection and sails. All done in close cooperation with our customers.


We are now looking for an accounting assistant for our office in Skagen.

ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT


Together with our accounting team your tasks will be bookkeeping and reconciliation for the groups 5 companies. You will assist with liquidity reports, reporting of statistical information, assignments for GDPR compliance, salary for crew, maternity leave and salary reimbursement, handling of sick leave as well as other ad hoc accounting tasks and general office duties.

In addition, you will assist our CFO in preparing annual accounts and reconciliations for consolidated account. The job will require a half-time position.

We are looking for you who have a passion for the shipping industry and are prepared to meet future challenges with an open and positive mind. You will work in our team at the office in Skagen in close cooperation with our colleagues in the Donsö Office.

We expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • A relevant financial education/background.
  • Good in written Danish and English language and understand spoken Scandinavian languages.
  • Able to communicate with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
  • Responsible, proactive, structured, flexible and team minded.
  • Preferably you have work experience from a similar job.
  • Welcoming and independent personality.
  • Structured and deadline orientated.
